マリー・ギャルソン

刺繍の本を読んでインスピレーションを得たイメージたちを
ひとつの作品にしてみました。

題名の「マリー・ギャルソン」とは北海道の釧路市にかつてあった喫茶店の名前です。
学生の頃に何度か行った事があり、とてもお洒落だった印象があります。
あのお店のようなお洒落な世界観を本作品に持たせたいと思い
店名をそのままタイトルにしました。

I have read embroidery books and found inspiration for these images.
I made them into a single work.

The title ‘Marry Garcon’ is the name of a coffee shop that used to be in Kushiro, Hokkaido.
I went there several times when I was a student, and I have the impression that it was very fashionable.
I wanted to give this work a stylish view of the world like that shop.
I decided to use the name of the shop as it is in the title.
